Abstract

In this study a model of the human body impedance and electric stroke physiology were elaborated on a personal computer. Until now this phenomenon has not been described in literature. It is known from literature that it is very difficult to determine electric parameters by which single parts of the body cauld be replaced, because of a high specificity of every human being as well as due to environmental conditions for which the parameters are determined. In this study, on the personal computer, the impedance model was simulated by mean levels of the parameters taken from literature. The results obtained were consistent with experimental results, and the approach to the problem was simplified. The simulation showed alternating voltage to be very harmful and pointed to the magnitude of currents and voltages adjacently to the heart, as one of the most dangerous phenomena accompanying electric stroke is ventricular fibrilation of the heart.
