Hindered Rotations in Carhamoylethyl-thiocarbamate Derivatives

Abstract

The synthesis of methyl N-[2-(carbamoyl)-ethyl]carbamates
and their thio-analogues is described. The NMR spectra of thio-
carbamates indicated hindered rotation around C-N bonds and
separation of two geometrical isomers.
