Abstract

On the material of 194 cases of bladder cancer the urographic changes are studied according to tumor’s stage, grade and repeated endoscopic interventions. It was discovered that a significant number of superficial tumors (vice-versa) has urographic signs of asymmetrical ureteral obstruction, and a signiicant number of invasive cancer cases has a normal urography. It was also discovered that the frequency of asymmetric ureteral obstruction is rising with cells dediferentiation (grading). This fact can be also a sign of preinvasive stage of superficial bladder cancer. It is also demonstrated that the asymmetrical ureteral obstruction is more frequent after a repeated endoscopic surgery, presumably as a consequence of iatrogenic disease caused by endoscopic surgery.
