EDUCATION OF S0CIAL WORKERS: CURRENT PROBLEMS AND POSSIBLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The process of education of social workers is not completed by gaining diploma. Permanent education and new knowledge are necessary for social worker and it is acquainted on several levels: postgraduate studies, training in various therapeutic techniques, training in some specific social work fields. This paper shows (1) review of present State of social workers training and achievements of certain educational levels, (2) necessary changes and improvement on certain levels and (3) long term development. It is underlined that the priority is to establish postgraduate studies.
