THE ROLE OF PRACTICE TEACHING IN UNDERGRADUATE SOCIAL WORK STUDY - GREAT BRITAIN MODEL

Abstract
The article gives a brief review of various theoretical models for practice leaning, in schools of social work all over the world, discussing recognized advantages and disadvantages of each. In the paper author presents more detailed review of model for practice leaning, applied in School of Community Health and Social Studies, Anglia Polytechnic University, in Cambridge, U.K. The purpose of this paper is to stress the role of practice teacher and practice teaching in general in the process of preparation of social work students for their future professional practice.
