Abstract
Complexations of bis(Zn(II)porphyrin) receptor possessing moderately flexible linkers with aliphatic α,ω-diamines was studied by UV-vis and NMR spectroscopy. The strongest binding was identified for 1,8-diaminooctane, with the binding constant by one order of the magnitude larger than the next diamine homologue 1,7-diaminoheptane.
