Abstract
This paper deals with game and football as a philosophical problem. The purpose is to read the football game with ontological key. The first part talks about the game as a phenomenon of human existence which is an integral part of human ontological structure, one of the fundamental determinants that define him/her, the form in which life lives itself. From its very beginnings philosophy has dealt with the game as a specific human activity inseparable from human existence. There certainly belong games with the ball and therefore, in the second part, we present a brief historical overview and development of game with a special emphasis on football. Although football is seen as a global phenomenon and easy to understand, perceived in its deeper analysis it opens up many questions which are the result of different approaches and looks at a unique event; so the third part of this paper is dedicated to the ontological structure of football, its key features, attractions, uncertainty and accessibility to everyone, pushing it to the top of popularity and making it the most important secondary thing in the world. In this part ontology helps in describing and understanding the football game itself, which has become the metaphor of our life.
