Arrest of ship : [case review]

Abstract

A ship may not be arrested unless a claimant has produced evidence of the debtor owing certain amount of money. There is no risk that the debtor should aggravate or impede a debt payment by registrating a ship in a foreign register of ships if the seat of the debtor shall have remained in Croatia.
