Abstract
Tanker charter parties, written by Petar Kragić has been recently published by Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Drawing upon his great knowledge and experience in shipping, the author has put forward the most frequent legal problems relating to tanker trade. He has compared the relevant effects of English, American and Croatian law and offered solutions to some problems that often give rise to disputes. The comprehensive material has been systematically presented and it is read with great interest. This book is particularly welcome as it comes at the time that Croatian Maritime Law is being created.
