Abstract
This paper describes the evaluation and grading of
student work using certain web technologies. The
theoretical background and the evaluation facts
were studied deeper.
It describes the way of grading through student
monitoring and knowledge testing in different
ways. There are presented various forms and
elements of monitoring and checking. As teacher
can make mistakes while evaluating, there are
alternative ways to avoid or mitigate faults. The
use of evaluators that will automatically compile
and evaluate student work helps the teacher in
the assessment process, but it also hides some
disadvantages. Tools such as quizzes in Moodle
or Kahoot are automatically evaluated. They
are good tools for checking content adoption,
but applying knowledge is difficult to estimate.
Using a workshop in Moodle enables students
to evaluate each other's work and evaluate
their own work. The paper analyzes deviations
from the evaluations made by the teacher and
students for the same task. It can be concluded
that it is desirable to combine different forms
and evaluation elements to make the process as
objective as possible.
