Abstract

In this article, anatomical models for the
natural scientific teaching in the primary schools in Croatia at
the turn of 20th century are presented. These models are
kept in the collection of the Croatian School Museum in
Zagreb. They are made from plaster, showing parts as well
as the complete human body in an extremely realistic way.
The visual characteristics of these models give them a very
important place in teaching pupils about the anatomical structure
and functions of human body.
