Conference on real and contractual securities in relation to ships from the aspect of insurance : [report]

Abstract
The Association for the Law of Insurance of Croatia organized in Pula, from 2-4 November 1988, a Conference.
Under the same title a Round Table was organized last year at Bled and due to its success the same subject has been enlarged and repeated. The Conference was attended by about 100 participants.
The first group of papers presented dealt with the registration of ships, persons in relation to ships, and securities in relation to ships. The second group referred to certain aspects of insurance of ships (assignment of insurance policies, insurer's right of subrogation, insurance of mortgagee's interests, insurance of credits), and the third group to customs matters and provisional measures in relation to ships.
The presentation of papers was followed by lively discussion. All the papers are issued in a special publication.
