Abstract

In the past three-year period, from summer 2015 till autumn 2018 our speleological section conducted research and survey of the cave Oaza. Previous efforts in the past ten years were focused on cave Muda labudova, but the discovery of Oaza, together with relatively easy-accesible water in the area, shifted the explorations towards it. The cave morphology sofar resembles other deep objects on Crnopac (ML, KG-DP) and agrees well with an idea about unique "Crnopac underground system". So far explored 1637 meters in length show a promising perspective of discovering horizontal passages, as well as improvement of our understanding of geology, geomorphology and hidrology of Crnopac massif.
