Abstract

The catalogue contains descriptions for 95 coins
dated from the 3rd to 1st centuries BC in the Marun Collection.
The collection includes a coin minted in Issa, a
Greek colony in the Adriatic Sea, a coin of Philip V of
Macedon, a coin of Carthage, two Numidian coins and
90 Roman Republican coins. The Roman Republican
coins consist of 87 denarii, two quinarii and an as.
Two Republican coins are dated from the end of the 3rd
to the 2nd century BC, 17 coins are from the 2nd century
BC, and 71 coins are from the 1st century BC.
