Abstract
This paper is focused on the production of a stator windings of hydrogenerator as the most important part of a hydroelectric power plant and the part that produces the electricity produced by hydroelectric power plant. The paper discusses the synchronous generator in which group the hydrogenerator also belongs as part of the plant, the difference between hydrogenerator and turbogererator and the type of hydrogenerator stator winding.The greatest effort is focused on creating a stator winding of a hydrogenerator so that production process can be automated and takes place in several steps. Each sequence of manufacture is performed in separate automated process and when one is completed the winding bars are moved to the next automated process to continue the production process. After finishing the winding insulation is handled with abrassive paper and protective and functional warnish is applied. Last process follows the electrical winding and insulation tests according to the factory protocol.
