Abstract

In the paper, the author presents the concept and meaning of "Regulatory Compliance", its origins and developments in the United States, a review of regulators and regulations, and the structure of the agency system with a brief indication of the biggest affairs of companies under larger regulators, which have had a significant impact on the development of "Regulatory Compliance ". Furthermore, some of the most important regulatory bodies / institutions at the global level, at the EU level and in the Republic of Croatia, along with an overview of the regulatory framework and most important regulators, with reference to the functioning of the regulatory agencies in Croatia and their impact on the market through EU acts. The simplified Regulatory Compliance Process in practice in the Republic of Croatia is presented with basic tools of the Regulatory Compliance activities. In conclusion, the author highlights the essential elements of Regulatory Compliance and outlines the width of each of the subtopics with recommendations in relation to the topic of this paper.
