Several methods used in digital cartography on modern maps are described according to the rules of cartographic visualization of rocks and rocky areas. Emphasis is placed on the possibility of producing rock representations, using a digital terrain model, taking into account perceptual, systematic, logical and standardization in the selection and design of surface rock patterns.
