Abstract

Grapevines are a long-standing woody crop and must be taken to ensure soil fertility in order to achieve high yield and quality grapes. In order to properly assess soil fertility, it is necessary to analyze the soil before new planting and determine the amount of soil nutrients (macro and micro elements), soil pH and the amount of organic matter in the soil. Also, during the cultivation of the vineyard, monitoring of soil fertility, after grape harvesting, is recommended. It is precisely the time after the end of harvest that is optimal for soil fertility control. Based on the results of soil analysis, could be complete recommendation for autumn soil fertilization and foliar fertilization for the next vegetation. Different fertilizers (mineral fertilizers, organicmineral fertilizers, organic fertilizers, microelement fertilizers) can be used to maintain a proper soil fertility.
