Abstract

Chrysanthemum has been intensively cultivated in Herzegovina for the last 30 years. Due to favorable climatic conditions production takes place in the open field as well as within the protected areas. Chrysanthemum plantation is mainly based on the production of cut flower and flower pots for the Feast of All Saints. Chrysanthemum seedlings regularly have various harmful polyphagous organisms that can endanger production in some years. The most significant pests of chrysanthemum are aphids, thrips and corn moth.
