Abstract

In May 2017 and August 2018, at the Kurilovec – Belinščica site, there was a systematic field survey with intense surface sampling. The objective was to determine the distribution and characteristics of the surface archaeological material. On the basis of the preliminary analysis of the collected data, we can single out areas with a more intense phenomenon of surface finds, as well as those where the frequency of surface material drops significantly. From that aspect, it was noticed that the distribution coincides with the area of the hillock of the Bronze Age settlement, with borders that were precisely identified during past excavations.
