Abstract
It was proposed to define maximal reliability of homogeneous test scores as the maximal canonical correlation between two sets of test items transformed into the image variables.
Also it was proposed to achieve maximal homogeneity transforming test scores into the first principal components of items of two tests, transformed into the image form.
Such transformation of test scores could be useful when tests are used to control the transformation initiated by pedagogic or therapeutic procedures.
