Abstract
The growing sport efforts during the training and competition cause various sorts of muscle injuries, from extensions to the complete ruptures. The author attempted to explicate all the factors influencing the phenomenon of muscle injuries, and the respective recovery methods.
According to the present knowledge, active therapy dominates in the muscle injuries treatment. That means the earliest possible mobilisation of sportsman, in order to bring the injured muscle, by means of gradual activity, in the state of optimal extension-contraction possibility. It is considered that by means of early mobilisation and application of all methods of physical therapy the muscle would be cured with the smallest scar, out of which results the maximal functional ability of the muscle.
