Abstract
Three specially constructed instruments of graphic type to prove primary social attitudes defined as authoritarianism, conservatism and conformism were applied in a representative sample of 450 subjects selected from the student population of the Zagreb University.
The data obtained allow the following conclusions:
(1) It was not to prove by the experimental work carried out in a sample of students of the Zagreb University, that the systematic engagement in physical exercises influence the process of training manifesting itself in some changes of social attitudes defined as conformism, conservatism and authoritarianism.
(2) As society is interested in such educational work in sport organisations as would manifest itself also in the formation of primary social attitudes, and as the results of other authors have shown that this can be achieved, it appears imperative that the system of work be changed and the educational influence raised to a higher level.
(3) The scales of the primary social attitudes constructed for this study may be used for the same or similar investigations in the future.
