Abstract

This paper deals with the subject matter of adaptive typography and the challenges to deliver the same experience regardless of its surroundings within a web browser or ecosystem. It starts with the very history of typography, how we have used typography so far and how it is used in modern times based on the fact that there is a plethora of different devices with different screen sizes and very different types of rendering and displaying fonts. The paper continues to explore ways in which we can overcome these challenges in a text-based environment on a number of different devices to deliver the best possible experience to the end-user.
