Abstract

The paper presents a preliminary analysis of tomb 13 from the locality Vir – Smratine. Two sacral objects were explored at the site. The older church was erected in the 6th century, with a smaller church built within most probably in the Romanesque period. Along the south wall of the older church was a children’s tomb (tomb 13), in which seven children were buried. Two fibulae attributable to early Christian times were found in this tomb: one in the shape of a bird and one plate fibula – bulla.
