The Application of the Method of Evoked Brain Potentials in Extraversion Research

Abstract
Although the psychology of personality has been more than
explored through scientific psychological literature, especially
the field of psychophysiology of personality that has been
established by the well-known Eysenck's Dimensional Theory
of Personality (1967) using various psychophysiological measures, recently the emphasis has been on application of
the Evoked Brain Potential Method. Using the newest
information considering this method, this paper presents its
basics, its advantages and limitations in application, and
some studies of extraversion that have been using the ERP-
-method.
