Croatian onomastics in a general Slavic perspective

Abstract

The author of the article, who is also the chief editor of “The Encyclopedia of Slavic Onomastics”, an all-embracing account of onomastics in Slavic countries, describes concisely the goals, genesis and structure of the Encyclopedia. The article focuses on Croatian onomastics, edited by Petar Šimunović.
