Abstract

This work talks about the parish in general and in church
documents. Then it analyses the existing models of the parish and
tries to find to what extent they are really adequate to the current
needs and way of life in the post-modern society. The work gives
the advantages and disadvantages of the present models of the
parish and parish pastoral. At the end it describes a model of
the parish that might be the best in answering the needs of the
present time and that could adequately follow contemporary man
(the Christian) in his actual difficulties and needs.
