Abstract

The paper explains field procedures for determining the precision of the horizontal directions and distances of motorized total station Topcon GMT-100, according to current ISO standards 17123-3 and 17123-4. For determining the precision of horizontal directions five directions in three sets and in four series have been measured. Measuring of horizontal distances has been carried out on calibration baseline of the Faculty of Geodesy in Zagreb. Distances were measured between seven pillars. All combinations have been measured. Experimental standard deviation of horizontal directions and distances, and zero point correction are the results of this examination.
