Abstract
Research has been conducted on 50 women of the average age of 79, divided into a control group and an experimental group. All the examinees have undergone tests measuring 4 motor variables at the initial and final stages so that quantitative changes in their motor abilities could be followed.
A regressive tendency in relation to the control group has been observed in the group that has been exposed to recreation-based kinesiological treatment. These results were to be expected since there was a fall in motor abilities in the control group during a three-month period. Such results, obtained through gerontological research of their health status, are in accordance with health characteristics of that age group.
