Abstract

The sample of 15 secondary school third form female students has undergone the experimental programme which consisted of aerobics exercises and some specially selected folk and social dances. The experiment has been conducted within the frame of the regular physical education class during one half-year. The changes in the structure of motor abilities (explosive strength, coordination, rhythm, flexibility and repetitive strength) have been determined by means of analysis of qualitative changes on the group of quantitative variables, and the results have been processed using three methods (Method 1, Flury and Krzanowski). The comparison of the results has shown that the experimental programme has influenced the homogenising of the observed abilities.
