Abstract
Based on the results of statistical-mathematical procedures, special police officers showed an expectedly high, acceptable level of anthropometric characteristics and motor skills (Table 2), which determine the very level of situational effectiveness of police officers in emergency situations. The results of the multiple regression analysis in Table 3 suggest that the result efficiency, accuracy of shooting with official firearms under load is defined by a statistically significant variable to estimate the sprint-type explosive power of fast running at 20 meters (TRČ 20), with a beta coefficient of .30, lower partial impact of other predictor variables [skin fold on the back (ANL) and the repetitive relative strength of arm and shoulder girdle musculature, torso musculature, bench press (bench press with 70% body weight BEN P70%]. The obtained result is explained by the fact that the explosive power represents one of the success determinants in all activities (Đuranović, 2009) that characterize the expression of maximum forces in the shortest possible unit of time, because it proved to be the variable load shooting (GAĐ), achieved after the performance of 20 "Marines", which are demanding in terms of intensity and extensiveness of work. The shooting performance, i.e. shooting accuracy is affected by an extensive range of morphological, motor, and functional characteristics (Table 3), which are the basis for controlling body oscillations, control target point fluctuations, grip strength of pistol case with handle, reduction of postural tremor and control of the upper extremities, self-control and overall performance of the shooting technique. Training protocols, special police programs have yielded good results in stressful firearms shooting conditions.
