Abstract

A brief statement on the role of geriatrics in Croatian medicine with reference to the role of the Reference Centre of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia - Service for Gerontology in Public Health, the Teaching Institute of Public Health "Dr. Andrija Štampar" and the University Department of Health Studies of the University of Split, where courses are held as part of the courses "Geriatrics" and "Geriatrics and evidence-based geriatric health care".
