Abstract

The paper presents children's adventure novels and their features. The comparison and interpretation was conducted on the novels Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe and Koko u Parizu by Ivan Kušan. The most important features of adventure novels are a romantic setting, an unusual situation, and the special vitality of characters.
