Abstract

This paper describes the analysis of the mechanical effects of short - circuit currents on high - voltage strain busbars. Based on the developed physical model, the KSUSAB program was developed, which calculates the behaviour of strain buses in stationary and dynamic state. The program was created in the MATLAB software tool. The KSUSAB model and program were verified on a measured example in a verified laboratory, after which analyses of the dependence of strain busbars on the magnitude of short-circuit current, short-circuit type, short-circuit duration, APU existence and simultaneous wind action were performed.
