Abstract

Recently, the increasing occurrence of orthodontic anomalies raises the question of how often care is taken of children’s visits to the
dentist, prevention of caries, and the basics of oral hygiene. This paper will analyse the causes and consequences of deciduous tooth
destruction and the possibility of preventing their loss. What are the changes that occur after the loss of a baby tooth? Does their loss
aff ect further development of the jaw and quality of life of the child? Can their total destruction be prevented and what happens to
the space after their loss?
