Abstract

The advancing digital transformation is increasing the cost pressure on companies. People’s work performance needs to be re-evaluated. Therefore, efficient Human-Resource-Controlling (HR-Controlling) with increased use of technologies promises companies a sustainable improvement in their financial situation. This paper shows the potential of the recent digital technologies on HR-Controlling, such as Big Data or Advanced Analytics. To demonstrate the impacts of the digital transformation on HR-Controlling, an empirical study with Austrian companies has been done. As a result, the most promising technologies for each stage in the HR-Controlling-loop are shown to increase the efficiency in HR-Controlling.
