Abstract
Informatization and reestablishment of private ownership on building land are [actors that made significant influence on the system of land development. Legislation changes, development of new skills and implementation of modem technologies are needed. Geodesy with its modem disciplines, spatial information management, land readjustment and land management, offers some of the solutions. Geodetic base maps and other spatial data used in spatial planning become part of spatial data infrastructure on local, as well as national level. Digital data encourage digitalization of entire spatial plans creation process, as well as their presentation by means of latest information and communications technologies. Implementation of modern methods of land readjustment is prerequisite for performing planned procedures in environment of private ownership over building land. Procedures already familiar from regulated western legislations have positive impact on quality of planning solutions and also enable coordination of public and private interests during the process of urbanization.
