Abstract
The paper explains the need to reform the study of geodesy at the Faculty of Geodesy of the University of Zagreb, because the last comprehensive reform was carried out in 1994. The new Scientific Activities and High Education Law introduced new studying models on the basis of the Bologna Declaration. The paper lists basic specifications of the Bologna Declaration, offers a brief review of the present and the future of geodesy and recommends guidelines for reforming the study of geodesy.
