Abstract

The paper describes the organization of geodetic administration in Croatia, basic geodetic networks, geodetic surveys, geodesy in civil engineering, mining, agriculture, forestry, environmental protection, preservation of cultural monuments, town planning, shipbuilding, industry and medicine, as well as geodetic companies, science, school system, publishing activities, acknowledgements and awards.
