Abstract

This paper analyses the underground geodetic basis of the tunnel "Mala Kapela" being the longest tunnel in the Republic of Croatia at the moment. There are the sources of errors in direction measurements processed with special reference to the lateral refraction and the error of initial bearing grid. The paper present the tunnel geodetic basis in the form of a triangle chain that meets the given criteria referring to accuracy of cutting the tunnel in the best possible way. At the end there is the positional uncertainty of points presented that were used as a reference for cutting the tunnel "Mala Kapela".

Keywords
