Forming Freefall up the Map Sheet in the Projection Plane

Abstract
This article describes the transformation of rectangular coordinates between local map coordinate systems in the plane of equivalent conical projection with two standard parallels – Albers projection. This recorded issue allows, with the same projection-characteristic, forming freefall up the map sheet and the multiple use of geometry data base storaged in a atlas cartographic information system – Atlas of Eastern and South-eastern Europe. The coordinate transformation algorithm in FORTRAN language is added to the cartographic software DIGMAP. The article contains the workflow diagram of the program.
