Digitizing with the Digitizer Cherry Mk. IV

Abstract

This article presents some characteristics of digitizer and its systematic errors and some methods to reach better quality of digitalisation. There is also given some authors' experience and recommended notice about it. Digitisers are used in survey practice for a long time ago, but today it is one of choice in creating and updating database of cadastral maps. The purpose of this article is to give more information about digitiser and digitalisation methods.
