Abstract

Within the scope of the scientific project "Basic Geodetic Works on the Geographical Information System of the Republic Croatia", the GPS measurements have been carried out in the wider border area of the states Croatia and Slovenia. The results of the measuring have been preliminary processed, the accuracy and the precision of the network have been analysed and one has also made comparisons with the measured lengths by means of geodimeter AGA 8. The network has been adjusted in the system WGS 84 and on Bassel's ellipsoid, In order to obtain the transformation parameters, the network has been included into the state coordinate system as well and one has also calculated the deviations of first-rate trigonometers coordinates on this territory.
