Abstract
Daily decrease of hydrocarbon production on the existing gas fields and increased demand for energy, encouraged implementation of the projects for increasing production and bringing in production wells and fields in Hungary, which could not be operated due to the impossibility of sending hydrocarbons to the gathering-transport system.
This paper shows how, after a detailed analysis of hydrocarbon layers, recoverable hydrocarbon reserves and all individual parts of the production and business system, production gas fields in Hungary can be connected to the production-gathering system of gas fields in Croatia.
By applying technological solutions and upgrading on the Gola deep gas station, it will be possible to receive the gas mixture (gas/condensate/salt water) which is delivered from the gas fields in Hungary through a new pipeline. On the GS Gola deep, after separation in the separation system. gas and condensate will be by separately pipelines transported to GTP Molve for further processing.
Planned produced hydrocarbons quantities and operations results, during the operation production period of gas fields in Hungary and acceptance into the production-gathering system in Croatia, fully justify investments in the system. With the continuous production of wells in Hungary and GS Gola deep, significant profit is realized for the company.
In concluding remarks, highlighted improvements of the proposed system for gas production and reception at GS Gola deep, future investment projects related to the Gola gas field and GS Gola deep, and the possibility of applying technical solutions to other gas fields.
