Computer-Aided Measuring Methods and Robots for Setting and Surveying of Building and Bridge Constructions

Abstract
The paper describes modern land surveying systems used in setting out and control of large building constructions. They are based on computer-aided measuring methods and robots. A practical application of the described measuring system is explained by an example of a nuclear power plant cooling tower construction in South Africa.
