Automatic Measurement of Height Differences

Abstract

The paper offers a survey of the development of the height differences measurement and the heights of points determination, particularly regarding the trigonometric and the geometric levelling. The problems in the automatization of the geometric levelling and the most recent solutions for a complete automatization are especially stressed.
