Consideration of Possibilities of GPS Application in Engineering Surveying

Abstract
The paper deals with the state of GPS technology pointing out the expected substantial changes resulting from its application. On the basis of the results of measurement of two distances (10 km and 2 m) by differential method, the possibility of application of the GPS measurements in engineering surveying is emphasized.
