Abstract

In this paper we would like to present some lesser-known aspects of inertial systems for transforming rotational motion into unidirectional (linear) translational motion by using a device (inertial system) using weights mounted on the chain of a chain drive, which is made in 3D format. Cylindrical and bevel gear drives are also used in the system. The study of the problem was done by mathematical modeling in MathCAD of the displacement, velocity, acceleration and inertia force and by making the graphical scheme of the system in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
