Abstract
Pionirski rad Renate Wagner-Rieger na području historicizma imao je velik utjecaj na istraživanja u Mađarskoj, ne samo zbog bliskih povijesnih i kulturnih veza između Budimpešte i Beča. Nekolicina istraživača aktivno je propagirala rad Renate Wagner-Rieger, posebno serijske publikacije o bečkom Ringu koje su pridonijele valorizaciji historicističke arhitekture u Mađarskoj i razvoju njezine terminologije.
